In the first part of the seminar we recall the definition and main classical results about nonlinear scattering for solutions to 1-d NLS and gKdV. In the second part of the seminar we present new results about the structure of the scattering operator and some related smoothing properties.
This a joint work with N. Burq, H. Koch, N. Tzvetkov.
